Switzerland: report 2008
July 2008 : Our biggest difficulty at the moment is to find enough money to feed the 200 orphans in our care. No official financial support has been found despite many attempts. Our thanks go to our loyal sponsors but we need many more. Regular donations, however small, are very important.

August 2008 : Well done and a huge thank you to Vreni who has once again enchanted us with her barrel organs and recitals, the proceeds of which go directly to Gao. A fantastic example of solidarity.
September 2008 : We have received excellent news this month, we have been promised sufficient funds to begin construction of our Reception Centre. We are overjoyed to soon be able to put a roof over the heads of the orphans. Nevertheless, there remains a lot of preparatory work to be done before the first brick can be laid.
APPEAL : We are looking for a building technician with experience of the construction of mud-based buildings and capable of leading this project to completion. Length of work : approx. 6 months.
