Switzerland: report 2007
January-February 2007: Preparations for the President's trip are under way. We pack 250kg of material including 60kg of antibiotics, bandages, toys, clothes and nappies for babies.
In total we have six trolleys of luggage to check-in at Marseille. Thanks to Arnaud for your help and kindness.
Johanne, who will be responsible for taking photographs and making videos, and will join us in Gao in one week.
Our Annual General Meeting took place in the presence of seventeen members. What a shame there weren't more!
March-April 2007: Our Annual General Meeting took place in the presence of seventeen members. What a shame there weren't more!
After the meeting, drinks were served during a video of our 'container mission', and several images of Gao were exhibited. The evening finished with a delicious meal in the magnificent restaurant 'Le Canard Bleu' at Vich.
Thank you to Eric, the owner of TENNISVIC, for allowing us to use this room and for providing the drinks.
May - June 2007: In order to keep our donors, sponsors and members better informed of our activities, both in Gao and Switzerland, we have decided to send them a monthly email update. This will provide a simple, direct link with new pages on our site.
It is also a way of spreading the news of our work to a wider audience.
Our responsibility to these vulnerable, little charges requires us to constantly find new ways to raise funds. Without this money we could do nothing.

July - August - September 2007: The numbers of children are constantly increasing and also the price of foodstuff. The price of milk has practically doubled in the space of 2 years and puts considerable strain on our budget and our biggest worry is to get funds in for the months to come.
