Switzerland: report 2013
January 2013 : Our thoughts are constantly with Mali and, more specifically, Gao. The news of the children is good and our care programme is continuing thanks to our local colleagues and the leadership of Sophie.
We are prepared for another year full of unexpected events as the political situation remains unstable despite the liberation of the northern towns.
February, March, April 2013 : Much to our pleasure, the Annual General Meeting had a higher attendance level than in previous years. The administrative situation is good and morale is high. We have learnt that part of our missing material has been found and there is the possibility that our generator will be returned to us.
May, June 2013 : Our priority remains feeding our orphan children and in order to do this we need money. Since the beginning of the year food prices have risen continually and the number of orphans needing help has also gone up. To guarantee their future, we need more people willing to act as sponsors, willing to join our organisation and willing to make donations.
To help with this fundraising we will be organising various events. It is with great pleasure that we announce a concert of support on 17th August in Burtigny.
